Hi, I'm Sheila.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Clinical Supervisor, and Master’s-level somatic psychotherapist and social justice counselor serving clients in the Boulder-Denver area.  I offer a creative and mindfulness-based approach to working with both mind and body. I specialize in working with adolescents, people who have experienced both acute and complex trauma, the LGBTQ community including Trans youth and adults looking for support with social and/or medical transition, athletes/performers, people living with anxiety/depression, and people who have been diagnosed with Multisystem Diseases.

Prior to my training as a counselor, I worked as a professional modern dancer and choreographer in New York City.  I bring the creative, improvisational, and problem-solving skills, as well as a hearty sense of humor mixed with a deep sense of care, from my  training as an artist directly to how I work as a psychotherapist. In addition to working as a counselor, I serve the Greater Denver Area as a dance/movement educator and social justice consultant.
